These traditional gourds, known as inkongoro, are storage vessels for liquids like buttermilk (amachunda), wine, and beer.  The baskets are used for valuables and gifts. In the back on the right stands a drum with drumsticks, and on the left a mortar and pestle.  In the center is a traditional woven screen used as a decoration and room divider. All of these traditional items taken together could be featured at a special celebration, like a wedding.
