A female lioness nuzzles her mate in Rwanda’s Akagera National Park. Their shiny fur is rendered in great detail with many shades of brown and white.
Recently introduced to the park from South Africa, Rwanda’s lions are doing well. They have successfully produced cubs, and their future looks bright.
